About the Course

We are offering an 18-week 0-3 course, 16 weeks – 4 blocks of 4 weeks each – on site in Sweden leading to the AMI Assistant's to Infancy diploma. During the course we will study Montessori theory, Home Environment, Psycho-Sensory Motor development activities, the Nido and Walking Communities, Foundation of Personality Development and Medical information relevant to our course. We also will finish 250 hours of observation. Some of the observations will be the responsibility of the student, but we will do many hours of supervised observation and practice teaching together. The course will prepare you to work with children of this age group, but it also will have an impact on how you relate to and work with children of the age group you are working with now. We hope to welcome you to share this unique opportunity to explore this amazing age group.
